Yes I think it would; shorter shaft makes it feel more like a 3 wood at address than my old Ping G10.

Hi. I have a pretty slow swing - and just bought this driver in a med flex, 12 degree. I love it and wish that I would have bought it a long time ago. I, like you, have been hitting my 3 wood off the tee for about a year now, and this driver gives me the confidence to use it - AND the mis-hits are not punished as badly as they were with my 3 wood.

This club will definitely benefit anybody who selects the correct shaft. If you have a relaxed controlled swing then a regular shaft will suit. Even the regualar shaft is still quite firm.

certainly it would be good for you. With a relaxed swing the club works fine and the ball flight is straight

The stiff shaft wont really suit your average swing perfectly, but the best thing about the club is that its a low spin driver so you can get away with a stiff shaft where you wont normally.

answer 2
Probably not, the stiff shaft is very stiff, the regular is still quite firm. I ordered the driver with the stiff shaft and I swing it 110+ and I should probably have gone with the regular.

Hi,
the aldila vs proto its a very nice shaft and will suit you perfectly! The bridgestone driver its a very good driver for a mid-low handicap as in popularity, depends on your golf buddy's, if they're good players they will find it beautiful but if they're high handicapers they probably not even know this club!

This driver won't be the best choice for you, I'm afraid. The head isn't forgiving, slices will occur much more, and the stock shafts are not the easiest to play

The J33R feels a bit lighter, thats mainly down to the 65g shaft that NVS employs.

The shaft suits someone with a faster swing, you can really work the kick point of the shaft to your advantage after you have played with it for a few rounds.

I think this driver is heavy, probably the heaviest one I've owned and heavier than your Callaway. The stiff shaft is probably stiffer than normal too.

Hello Paulo!
You should go golf course near you Amarante or Estela and if they have J33R compare your Callaway. Is your club speed fast enough for stiff?

If there is only one shaft available for selection then this is the only shaft available for this particular loft. Below is about the difference in the shafts.

The VS Proto 65 is a light-weight, low-torque driver shaft featuring high modulus material and a micro laminate construction for good tip stability and feel characteristics. Ideal for players seeking a penetrating trajectory, medium spin and control.

The Aldila NVS features the same unmatched performance and incredible feel of the original NV, with a higher launch. While the NV is a tip-stiff, low launch shaft, the NVS features a more responsive tip for those seeking a higher launch and a higher ball fight.
